Ethereum operates on two levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Execution Layer (EL)<\/strong> \u2014 the execution client, such as Geth, responsible for transaction execution, smart contract processing, and block creation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consensus Layer (CL)<\/strong> \u2014 the consensus client, such as Prysm, responsible for coordinating validator operations, monitoring block finalization, and ensuring network integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For the network to function smoothly, both layers must interact seamlessly. Let&#8217;s dive into each release in more detail:<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"key-changes-in-geth-1152\">Key Changes in Geth 1.15.2<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>The Geth 1.15.2 update is focused on bug fixes and node optimization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fixed the block construction mechanism on the mainnet, which was disrupted in previous versions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enabled the QUIC protocol by default, improving network connections between nodes.
