Shibarium Node API: Current State, On-Chain Activity
NOWNodes launched Shibarium Node API – a Web3 development tool for Shibarium native tokens’ integrations – in September 2023. Since then the blockchain has been in the centre of attention among crypto enterprises, but more on that – in the next chapter.
According to the NOWNodes internal statistics, during Jan-Feb period we processed 368,5 million requests. This load is 34% heavier than the number of calls from enterprises and developers in Nov-Dec a.k.a. two-moth period. The trend demonstrates the growth of on-chain activities and indicates the higher interest level in Shibarium transactions (including the bridges of SHIB and BONE from Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks to Shibarium Blockchain).
Finally, as Bitcoin is reaching $60K milestone this February, and many other projects achieve new records, Shibarium ecosystem has a promising year with a condition of the support from enterprises and developers.
Shibarium RPC Full Node Integrations
A lot of crypto enthusiasts and community members frequently ask us when we could expect more big integrations. NOWNodes is not directly in charge of such things, but we continue to assist and consult the enterprises.
One of the use cases is the most recent integration of Tangem – one of the best hard wallet providers. This February the team announced the highly anticipated collaboration. We are delighted and proud to support the integration with our Shibarium RPC Full Node. Learn more in Tangen’s official announcement.
Additionally, one of the notable integrations we had is the PawZaar NFT platform. We provide the team with shared and dedicated access to Shibarium Network to serve as a platform for pushing, facilitating and processing NFT-related on-chain activities.

What to Expect in 2024 for Shibarium?
As we recorded a higher volume of requests to Shibarium blockchain data, we scheduled several infrastructure upgrades that will happen automatically with no service disruption. Our goal is to make the connection to the Shibarium as close to the almost-zero latency as possible.
Besides, our another focus would be on researching and developing more tools for Shibarium builders. The list includes Websockets, Price Market API and Wallet Backend. These services would cover almost all challenging areas for dApps and platforms that are looking for Shibarium ecosystem integration – especially for those that do not wish to build a script from scratch. No public ETA is given, but we aim for this year.

How to Use to Shibarium RPC Full Node?
In order to build on Shibarium and integrate SHIB, BONE and LEASH coins, you need to use a specific endpoint to perform on-chain activities.
Just follow the simple steps below to get your private Shibarium RPC API key and get the access to Shibarium mainnet through NOWNodes.
- Visit the NOWNodes website and sign up for a new account.
- As you have signed up, you are going to be proposed to choose the tariff plan. You have the option to easily choose a FREE plan, which grants you immediate access to a Shibarium full node.
- If you have selected the free plan, you will then be allowed to choose 5 blockchains from a selection of almost 90. Scroll down to select the Shibarium RPC node. Click the “ADD” button in front of the SHIB or BONE Ticker to connect to the Shibarium.
- The next step is to navigate to “DASHBOARD” in your account and scroll down the page. Simply push the button “ADD NEW KEY” and your own API key will be added automatically. This private API key could be used as a Shibarium node API or for any other blockchains from the chosen list.
Once you get your Shibarium API key, you can use it to generate requests to Shibarium. Check all the available Shibarium methods in the NOWNodes Documentation and interact with your platform by using the available endpoints.
