What is a Base RPC node?
A Base Node provides full blockchain access through Remote Procedure Call (RPC) endpoints. These RPC endpoints allow developers to interact with the network programmatically — sending transactions, fetching block and transaction data, querying addresses, and monitoring real-time network activity. In production environments, RPC access is the standard way most applications connect to blockchain nodes.
Do I need to run my own Base node?
Running your own Base node is not necessary for most projects. Operating a node requires storage capacity, constant synchronization, security monitoring, and dedicated DevOps resources. These requirements often make self-hosted nodes costly and time consuming, particularly as your project grows.
What Base APIs does NOWNodes support?
After logging into NOWNodes and selecting a plan, navigate to the Dashboard in your account and choose the Base network. Then scroll down the page and click the Add a New Key button. Once your API key is generated, you can immediately start using the Base node through RPC or WSS endpoints.

How do I start using a Base node?
After login in NOWNodes and selecting a plan you need to navigate to the Dashboard in your account and scroll down the page. There you will see the button Add a New Key. Just push the button and your API key will be ready to use.
